Final salute to industry identities

The celebration of John Quintana’s life was held at the family property Hillfarm in Toowoomba on April 2. More than 250 people attended the celebration of the well-known identity in the cattle industry. John Quintana and Charlie Maher were killed in a light plane accident in Roma on Monday March 25. Charlie Maher’s funeral was held last Friday. Peter Dowling, Cloncurry, put pen to paper and produced the poem ‘Two Coffees’ about the day the two men never arrived at their destination.
